HOUSTON,TX-- LAURA JONES OF UNIVERSITY OF ST. THOMAS, a senior guard from Cypress, Texas, has been named the SCAC Women's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week for games played from Monday, November 24 through Sunday, November 30.

Jones powered the Celts to a statement non-conference win over No. 21 ETBU, scoring 17 points on an outstanding 85 percent shooting performance. She was unstoppable from beyond the arc, going a perfect 5-for-5 in just 14 minutes while adding a rebound, a steal, and an assist to round out her impact.
