HOUSTON, TX – The University of St. Thomas men's tennis team secured a hard-fought 4-3 victory over Texas Lutheran University at Lee LeClear Tennis Center.
UST opened strong in doubles, earning the point with wins from two pairings. Pooya Tork and Ricardo Moolchan secured a 6-3 victory, while Raja Pandya and Luis Ledezma followed with another 6-3 win to give the Celts the early advantage.
In singles competition, the Celts claimed three key matches to seal the victory. Ricardo Moolchan delivered a dominant 6-1, 6-1 performance, while Wilson Salazar followed with a strong 6-1, 6-4 win. Michael Haranczyk battled through a three-set match, dropping the second set before closing it out 6-3, 3-6, 6-3.
