COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – The University of St. Thomas men's tennis team wrapped up its Colorado road trip with a 7-0 loss to Colorado College in conference action. The Celts move to 4-6 overall and 4-4 in conference play.
In doubles competition, St. Thomas battled but was unable to secure the point as Colorado College claimed all three matches. The pairings of Sawyer White and Wilson Salazar, Ricardo Moolchan and Pooya Tork, and Raja Pandya and Luis Ledezma each fell 6-2.
In singles play, the Celts faced a strong opponent across the lineup. Raja Pandya dropped his match 6-3, 6-4, while Sawyer White fell 6-0, 6-2. Ricardo Moolchan competed in a tightly contested three-set match, taking the opening set 6-4 before falling 2-6, 10-4 in the deciding tiebreaker.
Wilson Salazar came up short 6-0, 7-5, while Pooya Tork battled in his first set before falling 7-5, 6-1. Gavin Simpson also pushed his opponent but dropped a competitive match 7-6, 6-3.
