HOUSTON, TX – The University of St. Thomas men's tennis team closed out the regular season with a dominant 6-0 conference win. The Celts move to 6-6 overall and 6-4 in conference play.
Due to rain, doubles competition was not played, shifting the focus entirely to singles matches.
St. Thomas controlled the day from start to finish, sweeping all six singles matches. Raja Pandya opened with a 6-2, 6-3 victory, while Sawyer White followed with a matching 6-2, 6-3 performance. Ricardo Moolchan added another point with a 6-1, 6-4 win.
Wilson Salazar Jr. battled through a three-set match to earn a hard-fought 7-6, 3-7, 6-4 victory. Pooya Tork secured a 6-4, 6-2 win, and Michael Haranczyk capped off the sweep with a dominant 6-0, 6-0 performance.
