HOUSTON, TX – The University of St. Thomas Women's Golf team concluded play at the Space City Classic at Gus Wortham Golf Course, finishing fourth overall with a team score of +107. The Celts opened with a +49 in round one and followed with a +58 in the final round.

Leah Torres led the way for St. Thomas, capturing the individual championship with a two-round score of +15. Torres opened the tournament with a 81 (+9) before improving in round two with a 78 (+6) to finish atop the leaderboard.
Cameron Frazier also delivered a strong performance for the Celts, finishing sixth overall at +19 after rounds of 79 (+7) and 84 (+12).
Regina Garcia Perez finished tied for ninth with a total score of +22, posting rounds of 82 (+10) and 84 (+12). Josefina Demonti carded rounds of 95 (+23) and 108 (+36) to finish at +59, while Katelyn Marti rounded out the lineup with rounds of 98 (+26) and 100 (+28) to finish at +54.
St. Thomas showed resilience throughout the two-day tournament while hosting the event in Houston.
