FORT WORTH, Texas – The University of St. Thomas women's golf team continued its strong showing at the SCAC Championships, holding second place after two rounds with a team total of +49 at Hawks Creek Golf Club. The Celts showed improvement in round two, trimming their score to +27 as they remained firmly in contention heading into the final day.

Leah Torres once again led the way for St. Thomas, finishing the day at +7 overall after consistent rounds of 37 and 39. Cameron Frazier followed with a +11 total, putting together back-to-back rounds of 38 and 39 to remain a key contributor for the Celts.
Regina Garcia Perez added a +19 overall, improving in round two with a 39, while Emma Koch finished at +27 after matching rounds of 41. Josefina Demonti rounded out the lineup with a +30 total, posting a 42 in the second round.
With steady contributions across the lineup, the Celts maintained their poise and stayed within striking distance of the top spot heading into the final round.
