FORT WORTH, Texas – The University of St. Thomas women's golf team closed out the SCAC Championships with a strong final-round performance, finishing second overall after a weather-altered day at Hawks Creek Golf Club.
Due to heavy rain and course conditions, play was shortened to nine holes with a shotgun start, as teams battled through a wet and muddy final round. The Celts posted a +19 in round three to secure their runner-up finish.

Cameron Frazier led the way for St. Thomas, finishing second individually and earning All-SCAC honors. She carded a +2 over the final nine holes to cap off a consistent tournament performance and highlight the Celts' day.
Leah Torres also delivered a standout tournament, finishing fourth overall and earning All-SCAC honors. She closed with a +8 in the final round, continuing to be a key presence near the top of the leaderboard throughout the championship.
Regina Garcia Perez followed with a +3 in the final round, continuing her steady play to finish at +22 overall. Josefina Demonti rounded out the Celts' scorers with a +6 in the final round.
Despite the challenging conditions, St. Thomas maintained its poise and secured a strong second-place finish among the conference's top teams.
