SUWANEE, Ga. — The University of St. Thomas has earned the top overall seed for the 2025 SCAC Volleyball Tournament, as announced by the conference office on Sunday night. The tournament begins Friday, November 14, and will be hosted by Schreiner University.

The Celts, who finished the regular season with a 23-5 overall record and a 13-3 mark in SCAC , were named co-champions of the Gold Division alongside Schreiner. After tying in the standings and splitting their regular-season meetings, a tiebreaker determined St. Thomas as the top seed. Both teams went 1-0 against Hendrix College, but the Celts held the edge by defeating Austin College 1-0, while Schreiner fell to the 'Roos earlier in the season.
St. Thomas also claimed the overall No. 1 seed over Blue Division winner Hendrix (19-6; 13-3 SCAC) thanks to a 3-1 victory against the Warriors on October 4.
As a result, the Celts and Hendrix both receive byes into the semifinal round on Friday afternoon. St. Thomas will face the winner of the Austin College–Colorado College matchup at 3:30 p.m. CT, while Hendrix will meet the Schreiner–LeTourneau winner at 6 p.m. CT.
Schreiner enters the tournament as the No. 3 seed, followed by Austin College at No. 4 and Colorado College at No. 5. LeTourneau, making its first-ever SCAC tournament appearance, rounds out the field as the No. 6 seed.
The championship match is set for Saturday at 3 p.m. CT, with the tournament winner earning an automatic berth into the NCAA Division III National Championship.
