KERRVILLE, Texas — Top-seeded University of St. Thomas saw its run in the 2025 SCAC Volleyball Tournament come to an end on Friday afternoon, falling 3–0 to Colorado College in the semifinal matchup at the Stephens Family Arena.
UST opened the afternoon trading points early, but Colorado College used a late push to take the first set, 25–22. The Celts continued to battle in the second set, but struggled to find rhythm offensively as CC held UST to nine kills, dropping the frame 25–18.
In the third, St. Thomas made a strong push to extend the match, staying within striking distance throughout. However, Colorado College closed out the set 25–21, ending the match in straight sets.
UST finished the afternoon with 30 kills, while the Tigers produced an efficient offensive performance to advance to the tournament final.
