SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The University of St. Thomas women's golf team wrapped up play at the Carla Spenkoch Invitational on Tuesday, improving their position on the leaderboard to finish sixth overall after two rounds at The Quarry Golf Club.

Leah Torres once again led the Celts with a strong showing, finishing tied for 13th overall. Torres carded a +9 in round two to close out the tournament at +14, securing another top-15 finish this fall.
Cameron Frazier followed as the team's second scorer, shooting a +10 in the final round to end the event at +22 and place 22nd overall. Regina Garcia Perez continued her steady play for the Celts, posting a +13 round to finish at +27 and in 29th place individually.
Rounding out the lineup, Josefina Demonti recorded a +17 on day two to finish at +44 and place 38th in the field.
