FORT WORTH, Texas – The University of St. Thomas women's golf team closed out their fall season on a high note, taking home first place at the SCAC Preview at Hawks Creek Golf Club. The Celts finished with a team total of +70 after two rounds, pulling ahead of the competition to secure the top spot.

Leah Torres led the way for St. Thomas, carding an even-par 72 in the final round to finish tied for second overall at +8. Right alongside her was teammate Cameron Frazier, who also tied for second after a steady +2 performance (74) on Day 2.
Rounding out the lineup, Regina Garcia Perez shot a solid 79 (+7) to place fourth overall, while Josefina Demonti battled through the course to finish with an 89.
With their consistent play and composure, the Celts outpaced Schreiner (+85) and McMurry (+90) to claim the team title. This win concludes the fall portion of the schedule for St. Thomas, who will look to carry their momentum into the spring season.
