HOUSTON – The University of St. Thomas baseball program has added Blake Michalsky as Assistant Coach. He begins his coaching career at his alma mater after playing four seasons for the Celts.

A Deer Park native who attended Deer Park High School, Michalsky will work primarily with the program's hitters and infielders, helping players develop their skills, confidence, and approach on the field.

As a senior leader on the UST baseball team, Michalsky earned a reputation for his strong work ethic, leadership, and passion for player development. He is known for his positive attitude and his ability to connect with others, qualities that will serve him well as he moves from the dugout to the coaching box.

Michalsky is excited to return to the program that played such an important role in his growth as both a player and a person, and to give back to the next generation of Celts.
