SUWANEE, Ga. — The University of St. Thomas (Texas) women's tennis team is ready for postseason play as the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference announced the official bracket for the 2026 Women's Tennis Championship. Entering as the No. 3 seed, St. Thomas opens its tournament run on Friday at 9 a.m. against No. 6 seed LeTourneau. The Celts have positioned themselves as a strong contender heading into the weekend and will look to carry that momentum into the postseason.

With no current program in the field holding an SCAC Women's Tennis Championship title, the opportunity is wide open—and the Celts are aiming to capitalize. A win on Friday would advance St. Thomas to the semifinals, where they would face No. 2 seed Concordia (Texas) on Saturday morning.

At the top of the bracket, No. 1 seed Colorado College enters as the conference favorite, boasting an 18-3 overall record, a perfect 10-0 mark in conference play, and an 11-match win streak. The Tigers are currently ranked No. 21 nationally and will await the winner of No. 4 Schreiner and No. 5 Hendrix in the opposite semifinal.

The tournament features a tightly contested middle of the bracket, highlighted by a three-way tie for fourth place between Schreiner, Hendrix, and LeTourneau. After tiebreakers were applied, Schreiner secured the No. 4 seed, followed by Hendrix and LeTourneau.

Championship action concludes Sunday morning, with the title match scheduled for 9 a.m. The Celts will look to make a statement throughout the weekend as they chase their first SCAC Tournament championship in program history.
