HOUSTON, TX – University of St. Thomas sophomore Quadetra Wilburn has been named the SCAC Women's Track Athlete of the Week for meets held from Monday, March 16 through Sunday, March 22.
The Cypress, Texas native delivered a standout performance at the TLU Invite, earning a pair of top-three finishes highlighted by a gold medal in the 100-meter dash. Wilburn crossed the line in 11.88, securing the win while posting the fastest time in the SCAC this season and the third-fastest mark in NCAA Division III.
She continued her strong showing in the 200 meters, finishing third with a time of 24.60 while setting a new school record.
Wilburn's performance at the TLU Invite further solidifies her position among the top sprinters in the conference and nationally, as she continues to lead the way for the Celts this outdoor season.
