CONWAY, AR – St. Thomas Women's Basketball team earned strong representation in the 2025-26 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) postseason awards, highlighted by multiple Celts receiving all-conference recognition.
Senior guard Amyia Bowie was named to the All-SCAC Second Team following an outstanding season for St. Thomas. Bowie also earned SCAC Defensive Player of the Week honors during the year, further emphasizing her impact on both ends of the floor. She finished the regular season ranked second in the conference in assists and steals while averaging 11.2 points per game. Her steady leadership, defensive intensity, and ability to create opportunities for her teammates played a pivotal role in the Celts' success throughout conference play.
Adding to the list of honorees, freshman Yasmine Aly earned a spot on the SCAC All-Freshman Team. Aly made an immediate impact in her first collegiate season, showcasing poise and versatility beyond her years while contributing valuable minutes for the Celts throughout conference competition.
St. Thomas was also well represented among the conference's Honorable Mention selections. Junior guard Kenna Gibson, senior guard Kameron Goodman, senior guard Laura Jones, and junior guard Macie Whitfield each received votes from the league's coaches. Their consistent contributions, whether in scoring, defense, or playmaking, were instrumental in helping the Celts remain competitive throughout the season.
The postseason honors reflect the growth and depth of the St. Thomas program, as multiple student-athletes were recognized for their performance and leadership. With a strong core in place, the Celts will look to build on this momentum heading into the next chapter of the program.
