HOUSTON, TX--  UST men's basketball is back in action sooner than expected as the Celts take the court against McMurry University on Saturday, January 24, due to weather conditions.

The game was originally scheduled for Sunday at 12 p.m. but was moved up to ensure the safety of student-athletes, staff, and fans. Tip-off is now set for 5 p.m.

The women's basketball game against McMurry has been postponed and will be played on a later date to be announced.

On the men's side, the Celts look to build momentum against a McMurry team currently sitting at 1–6 in conference play.

Fans are encouraged to adjust their plans and pack the stands as the Celts defend home court in this Saturday matchup.
