CLAREMONT, CA-- St. Thomas men's cross-country team capped its 2025 season with a strong showing at the NCAA West Regional Championships in Claremont, California. On a wet and muddy course that challenged every runner in the field, the Celts battled through the conditions to finish 11th overall out of 30 competing teams.

Freshman Elijah Emerson led the way once again, placing 25th with a time of 26:08.5 in the 8K race. Micah Hampton followed in 26:43.5 to take 51st, while Johnathan Castro crossed in 26:54.7 for 65th.
Marc Mendoza continued the scoring effort with a 27:12.6 finish, and Mason McFeeters closed out the team's top five at 27:24.9. Diego Santilan (28:55.3) and Chris Lopez (29:11.0) rounded out the Celts' postseason lineup.
With NCAA Regionals complete, the Celts officially bring their season to a close, wrapping up a year defined by steady progress and competitive performances across the board.
