KERRVILLE, TX — The University of St. Thomas Men's Cross Country team turned in a strong showing at the Mountaineer Hill Country Invitational, finishing second overall as a team with a score of 40 in the 8K race, trailing only Texas A&M International.

The Celts were led by Elijah Emerson, who finished 4th overall with a time of 26:03.3. He was followed by Chris Lopez (7th, 27:17.4), Micah Hampton (8th, 27:17.7), Johnathan Castro (10th, 27:46.8), and Wyatt Butts (11th, 27:48.0), rounding out the Celts' scoring five in a runner-up team finish.
