Wilburn raced in the opening heat of the preliminaries and posted a time of 12.16 to finish 21st overall in the nation.

Her appearance at the national championship meet marked another milestone moment for the St. Thomas women's track and field program, as Wilburn became the first female athlete in program history to compete at the NCAA Outdoor Championships.

Throughout the 2026 outdoor season, Wilburn established herself as one of the top sprinters in Division III. She captured conference titles, broke multiple school records, and posted nationally ranked times while helping lead the Celts' sprint relays to historic performances.

Among the highlights of her season was her conference-record run of 11.83 in the 100 meters at the SCAC Championships, along with several school-record relay performances throughout the spring.

Friday's race officially concludes a breakthrough season for both Wilburn and the St. Thomas track and field program as the Celts continue to elevate their presence on the national stage.
