ABILENE, Texas – The University of St. Thomas track and field teams capped off an impressive showing at the SCAC Championships with a strong Day Three performance, highlighted by multiple event titles, podium finishes, and record-setting team results.

The Celts were led by standout performances across the track, beginning with Eli, who claimed the conference title in the 5000 meters with a time of 15:24.42 to secure a key victory for St. Thomas.
In relay action, the women's 4x100-meter team of Quadetra Wilburn, Christalyn Dorsey, Houlda Dibanda, and Trinity Provost raced to a first-place finish in 47.57, adding another championship performance to an already strong weekend.
Cam Grimaldo delivered a dominant showing in the hurdles, placing third in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 14.84 before returning to win the 400-meter hurdles in 54.66.
The women's sprints continued to shine, as Quadetra Wilburn captured the 100-meter title with a time of 11.86. Teammates Trinity Provost and Christalyn Dorsey completed the sweep of the podium, finishing second (12.14) and third (12.21), respectively.
In the 400 meters, Eslie Ngoran surged to a first-place finish with a time of 57.85, while Nelsy Vera added points with a fifth-place finish in 59.63.
Joshua Martinez added another podium finish for the Celts, taking second in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 55.56.
Trinity Provost closed out an impressive meet with a conference title in the 200 meters, clocking 24.77, while Wilburn added a third-place finish in 24.91 to continue the team's dominance in the sprint events.
The women's 4x400-meter relay team of Provost, Ngoran, Vera, and Madison Walker capped the meet with a second-place finish in 3:59.69.
As a team, the St. Thomas women placed fourth overall with 108 points—the highest total in program history—while the men finished fifth with 71 points, marking the second-highest point total in program history.
With multiple champions, record-breaking performances, and historic team finishes, the Celts closed the SCAC Championships on a high note, continuing to build momentum for the remainder of the outdoor season.
