The day opened with a statement from both 200 medley relays, as the women finished in 1:59.63 and the men followed with a 1:35.99. Both groups were sharp across all four legs and powered their way to new school records, setting the tone early.
From there, it quickly became the Oliver Spencer show. He posted a 51.79 in the 100 fly for a new school record, then came back later with a 1:44.96 in the 200 freestyle—another program best. His performances stood among the biggest highlights for St. Thomas.
The men's 100 breast continued the strong momentum. Ben Tercero delivered a smooth, controlled swim, and teammate Tanner McKay broke the 1:00 barrier for the first time—an exciting milestone and a clear sign of his progress this season.
On the women's side, AJ Kennell produced one of the most impressive drops of the meet, taking 2.5 seconds off her time in the 100 back for a lifetime best.
Ava Verret battled through a demanding event lineup but still made finals in both her races, staying right on her season-best marks in the 100 breast and showing strong consistency throughout the day.
The Celts also saw strong efforts in the men's 100 fly, where both Oliver Spencer and Levi Del Angel put together competitive swims and continued to build momentum for the team.
