HOUSTON, TX – The University of St. Thomas Men's Golf team completed rounds one and two of the Space City Classic at Gus Wortham Golf Course, an event hosted by the Celts in Houston. After 36 holes, St. Thomas sits fourth overall with a team score of +7 heading into the final round.

Leading the way for the Celts was Antonio Ramirez, who holds the individual lead at 4-under after firing rounds of 69 (-3) and 71 (-1). William Alberty also delivered a strong performance and sits tied for third overall at 1-under with rounds of 69 (-3) and 74 (+2).

Jesus Del Aguila sits tied for sixth at even par following rounds of 73 (+1) and 71 (-1). Competing as individuals, Landon Chau is tied for 23rd at +8 with rounds of 72 (E) and 80 (+8), while Drake Durrett sits tied for 29th at +10 after posting rounds of 78 (+6) and 76 (+4).

Aasher Barrows is tied for 35th at +12 with rounds of 75 (+3) and 81 (+9). Lawson Fiscus sits tied for 37th at +13 after rounds of 74 (+2) and 83 (+11), while Bryce Brazzel is tied for 40th at +15 with rounds of 77 (+5) and 82 (+10).

The Celts look to close out the home tournament strong when they return for the final round.
