DALLAS, TX – The University of St. Thomas men's tennis team delivered an impressive performance on the road, defeating the University of Dallas 6-0 at the TCU Indoor courts. The win marks a strong showing for the Celts as they continued their spring season competition.
UST set the tone early in doubles play, claiming two of the three matches to earn the opening point. The duo of Wilson Salazar Jr. and Sawyer White secured a 7-5 victory, while Pooya Tork and Ricardo Moolchan followed with a 6-3 win.
The Celts carried their momentum into singles competition, winning five matches to secure the overall victory. Raja Pandya dominated his match with a 6-4, 6-0 sweep, while Sawyer White battled to a 7-5, 4-6, 6-4 win. Ricardo Moolchan added another point with a steady 6-3, 6-2 performance, and Wilson Salazar Jr. controlled his match with a 6-1, 6-2 victory. Michael Haranczyk also contributed a point after winning his match in a tightly contested battle that ended in a deciding tiebreaker.
