GEORGETOWN,TX-- University of St. Thomas women's cross country team kicked off its 2025 season with a strong showing at the season opener in Georgetown, Texas. With impressive individual performances, the Celts marked the start of a promising campaign.

Alejandra Ramon led the way for the Celts in 11th place with a time of 19.25 and breaking the school record for the 5K. Keyanna Brown followed behind finishing 17th overall with a time of 20:04.61. Her performance showcased her readiness for the season and set a high standard for her teammates. Elyssa Rodarte followed closely with a time of 22:21.87, placing her among the top runners for UST.
Not far behind, Jaden Leddy crossed the finish line in 23:54, showing steady improvement as the season begins. Rounding out the top finishers were Ana Luna and Kianna Stamps, who also displayed strong performances, contributing to the team's collective effort.
With their sights set on the next meet, the Celts will continue building momentum as they prepare for upcoming races. The team's depth and determination are evident, and they are excited for what the rest of the season holds.
