GEORGETOWN,TX-- St. Thomas men's cross country team kicked off its 2025 season at the season opener in Georgetown, Texas, delivering an impressive performance led by top finishes from several runners.

Elijah Emerson made an immediate impact, finishing in the top 10 with a 7th-place finish and a time of 15:31. Emerson's strong performance set the tone for the Celts as they began the season with confidence.

Mason McFeeters followed closely behind in 13th place, posting a time of 16:03. His effort provided a solid second position for the team. Not far behind, Micah Hampton ran a respectable 16:09, securing a place in the middle of the pack while rounding out the team's top three.

Johnathon Castro, Chris Lopez, and Wyatt Butts also contributed solid finishes, rounding out the top six runners for UST. The strong finish from the Celts' top performers highlighted the team's potential as they look ahead to future meets.
