HOUSTON – The Celts are officially headed to the 2025 SCAC Baseball Tournament, as the conference office announced the tournament bracket Monday night. The double-elimination event begins Friday, May 2, at Dell Diamond in Round Rock, Texas.

St. Thomas (19-18 overall; 17-13 SCAC) secured the fourth and final seed after finishing tied with Texas Lutheran in the conference standings but earning the tiebreaker thanks to a three-game sweep over the Bulldogs back in early April.

This year's tournament features a fresh look. While top-seeded Trinity University (33-7 overall; 27-3 SCAC) remains a familiar face, the rest of the field is made up of newer conference members. No. 22 Concordia (Texas) (31-9 overall; 24-6 SCAC) and RV McMurry University (31-9 overall; 22-8 SCAC) will join St. Thomas in making appearances early in their SCAC tenures.

The Celts will open tournament play with a matchup against Trinity at 1:00 p.m. CT on Friday, followed by the Concordia/McMurry game at 4:30 p.m. Two weeks ago the Tigers defeated the Celts in Houston, but St. Thomas looks to flip the script under the postseason spotlight.

All tournament games will be streamed live through CooperSports in partnership with FloSports.
