Trinh and McKee Earn All-Region Honors

HOUSTON- The postseason accolades continue to roll in for UST Baseball, as standout seniors Alex Trinh and Dillon McKee have been named to the D3baseball.com All-Region 10 Second Team.The honor follows both players earning First Team All-SCAC selections earlier this spring, further cementing their impact on the Celts' success.

Representing the Celts among the region's best, Trinh earned his spot at second base while McKee was selected as one of the top first basemen in the region.

Alex Trinh 
A consistent force in the Celt lineup, Trinh was recognized for his remarkable versatility as both a pitcher and infielder. In 80 career games, the Cypress native compiled a staggering .408 batting average, with 118 hits, 56 RBIs, and 31 extra-base hits—including 9 triples and 6 home runs. His .471 on-base percentage and .588 slugging percentage reflect his ability to get on base and drive in runs at a high level. Whether fielding in the infield or toeing the rubber, Trinh was a reliable contributor and one of the most dynamic two-way players in the region.

Dillon McKee
McKee capped off his collegiate career with an outstanding senior season. The Lago Vista native played in 108 games, racking up 123 hits, 18 home runs, and 91 RBIs with a .315 batting average. He also posted a .416 OBP and .531 slugging percentage, showcasing both his patience and power at the plate. McKee's leadership and consistent production made him a mainstay in the Celt lineup and one of the top first basemen in the SCAC and in the nation.

With both players earning First Team All-SCAC and now All-Region 10 honors, Trinh and McKee leave behind a legacy of excellence that helped elevate St. Thomas Baseball to new heights. Their postseason recognition highlights not only individual achievement but also the growing reputation of the Celt baseball program across the region. heights.
