SUWANEE, Ga. — After an impressive fall that featured historic moments across multiple programs, the University of St. Thomas sits third in the race for the 2025-26 SCAC Presidents' Trophy with 190 points.
The Celts' momentum was driven by a program-best runner-up finish in men's cross country, marking the highest placement in school history at the SCAC Championship. Volleyball added another key boost by earning a tie for third place, continuing the team's rise as a conference contender.
Texas Lutheran leads the standings following its fall titles, while Colorado College stands second. But UST's strong fall output positions the Celts firmly in the upper tier of the all-sports race heading into winter and spring seasons.
The SCAC Presidents' Trophy — represented by a 300-pound railroad bell that has symbolized conference excellence since 1962 — is awarded annually to the institution with the top combined men's and women's athletics performance across all championships.
With historic results already secured this fall, the Celts look to continue building momentum as the race for the bell heats up.
