ARIZONA –  St. Thomas Men's Golf team began play at the Firestorm Invite, finishing round one in ninth place with a team score of +9 at Verrado Golf Club – Founders Course.

Leading the way for the Celts were Landon Chau and Antonio Ramirez, who both posted strong rounds of 73 (+1) to tie for 20th individually. Close behind was William Alberty, carding a 74 (+2) to keep St. Thomas in the mix. Rounding out the lineup, Jesus Del Aguila shot a 77 (+5) while Lawson Fiscus finished with a 79 (+7).

The Celts showed steady play throughout the day and will look to make a move up the leaderboard as round two continues today.
