The second set saw a complete turnaround for the Celts. Both teams traded points early before a kill from Ariana Willis sparked a 5-0 UST run, putting the Celts ahead 10-5. The third set was a back-and-forth battle from start to finish. Both teams exchanged runs and held brief leads, with the score tied at 20-20 late in the set. However, Schreiner capitalized on back-to-back kills and a few UST errors to pull away and take the set 25-21.
The fourth set mirrored the third, with neither team backing down early on. UST continued to fight to stay within striking distance, but the Mountaineers broke away late, going up 20-16 and maintaining their edge to secure the 25-20 set and the match victory.
