LONGVIEW,TX-- UST Volleyball team wrapped up the SCAC Crossover in dominant fashion, sweeping the University of the Ozarks 3-0 with set scores of 25-11, 25-12, and 25-7. The win improves the Celts to 21-3 overall and 11-1 in the SCAC.

In the opening set, the Celts came out firing on all cylinders, quickly taking a 10-1 lead. Strong kills from Alexis Bodunrin, Brooke Barnes, and Ariana Willis fueled the offense as UST continued to pull away, extending the score to 20-7. Despite a brief rally from the Eagles, the Celts maintained control and closed out the set 25-11.

The second set began with a tighter exchange as Ozarks jumped ahead 4-2. UST responded with a string of kills from Bodunrin, Jazilyn Davis, and Tasmine Maxwell to reclaim the lead. A well-timed kill by Willis and a momentum-swinging play from Sara Randall helped UST go on a 6-1 run, pushing the lead to 20-11. The Celts stayed steady to finish off the set 25-12.

The third set mirrored the first, as the Celts once again jumped out to an early 10-1 advantage. Maxwell and Bodunrin continued to produce offensively while capitalizing on Ozarks' errors. A kill from Maxwell and a pair of service aces from Carly Lange extended the lead even further before Noor Haydari sealed the match with a decisive kill, giving UST the 25-7 win and another sweep.
