FORT WORTH, TX – The University of St. Thomas Men's Golf team wrapped up the opening day of the SCAC Preview at Hawks Creek Golf Club, completing two rounds of play and sitting in second place at 2-under as a team.
Leading the way for the Celts was Antonio Ramirez, who carded a 69 after shooting 35 on the front nine and 34 on the back. Close behind was Jesus Del Aguila, who turned in a solid round of 70 with a steady performance across both sides of the course. Landon Chau followed at 73, while Matthew VanHoy shot a 74 and William Alberty rounded out the lineup with a 76.
With consistent play across the lineup, the Celts are in strong position heading into the final day as they look to make a push for the top of the leaderboard.
