Vincenzo Cox is an esteemed soccer coach, renowned for his expertise in athlete development and his dedication to fostering excellence both on and off the field. With a distinguished career that includes coaching numerous U.S. Soccer Federation Academy players and U.S. National Team Youth athletes, Cox has led his teams to national prominence, notably achieving the USATODAY #1 Boys Soccer National Ranking in 2018. During his tenure at Elsik High School, Cox guided his teams to three UIL 6A Regional Championships and cultivated 17 UIL All-State selections, a testament to his ability to inspire peak performance. His leadership has also produced multiple Gatorade Texas Boys Soccer Players of the Year and consistently high national rankings, including TopDrawerSoccer and United Soccer Coaches accolades. Cox's commitment to holistic development extends beyond athletics which is evident by his success in elevating team GPAs and supporting scholar-athlete achievements. Holding a prestigious UEFA B license from the German Federation, Cox also served as an assistant coach at Houston Christian University, where he applies his tactical experience to advance team performance. His multifaceted career, which includes significant contributions to track and field as well as military service in the U.S. Army, reflects a lifelong commitment to developing well-rounded, disciplined athletes capable of excelling in all aspects of their lives. Cox graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.
