KERRVILLE, TX — The University of St. Thomas Women's Cross Country team turned in a strong showing at the Mountaineer Hill Country Invitational, finishing second overall as a team with a score of 55 in the 6K race, trailing only Texas A&M International.

The Celts were led by Keyanna Brown, who finished 5th overall with a time of 24:27.8. She was followed by Elyssa Rodarte (8th, 25:03.9), Rafeala Olivarez (9th, 25:19.8), Jocelyn Izavarras (12th, 26:29.4), and Samantha Medina (26th, 27:50.5), rounding out the Celts' scoring five in a runner-up team finish.
