SEGUIN, TX – The University of St. Thomas men's golf team closed out the John Nellermoe Classic, hosted by Texas Lutheran at Max Starcke Park Golf Course, with a fourth-place finish. The Celts posted rounds of +4 and +4 to finish at +8, tying with host Texas Lutheran for fourth in the six-team field.

Southwestern (TX) claimed the team title at -5, backed by a -8 second round. LeTourneau (-1) and McMurry (+7) rounded out the top three, while Schreiner finished sixth at +15.

Aasher Barrows led the way for St. Thomas, finishing tied for fourth individually at -1 after rounds of 72 and 71. Bryce Brazzel followed in a tie for 13th at +2, carding 72-74, while Antonio Ramirez tied for 21st at +4 with rounds of 75 and 73. Jesus Del Aguila finished tied for 34th at +8 (73-79), and Carter McCaffrey rounded out the St. Thomas lineup tied for 42nd at +10 after rounds of 80 and 74.

The Celts' balanced play, particularly from Barrows and Brazzel near the top of the leaderboard, kept St. Thomas in the mix throughout the two-day event.
