HOUSTON, TX — The University of St. Thomas Women's Cross Country team competed at the 50th Rice Invitational, taking on a stacked field that included Rice, Houston Christian, Texas Southern, Concordia (Tex.), and Prairie View A&M, among others. The Celts finished fourth as a team with a score of 94 in the 4-mile (6.4K) race. The Celts finished fourth as a team with a score of 94 in the 2.5-mile race.

The Celts were led by Alejandra Ramon, who finished 12th overall with a time of 15:28.8 to pace the team. She was followed by Keyanna Brown (18th, 15:49.6), Rafeala Olivarez (22nd, 16:08.5), Elyssa Rodarte (24th, 16:51.3), Jocelyn Izavarras (17:35.8), Lexie Rojas (18:20.9), Samantha Medina (18:29.8), and Jaden Leddy (19:14.9), each contributing to the team's fourth-place finish against a highly competitive field.
