COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – The University of St. Thomas women's tennis team faced a tough test on the road, falling 7-0 to No. 19 Colorado College in conference competition. The Celts now stand at 5-4 overall and 5-2 in conference play.

In doubles play, St. Thomas was unable to secure the point as Colorado College swept all three matches. The Celts competed across all courts but could not gain momentum against the nationally ranked Tigers.

In singles competition, UST continued to battle but came up short in all six matches. Lucia Rodriguez fell 6-3, 6-0 at the top spot, while Ella Mullins dropped her match 6-1, 6-0. Mariel Herrera was defeated 6-0, 6-2, and Nataly Velasco fell 6-1, 6-2.

Adriana Iturralde and Marlie McArthur rounded out the lineup, each falling in straight sets as the Celts faced a strong Colorado College squad.
