HOUSTON, TX – The University of St. Thomas women's tennis team earned a 6-1 conference victory over McMurry University at home. The Celts improve to 6-4 overall and 6-2 in conference play.

UST quickly secured the doubles point, highlighted by a dominant 6-1 win from Lucia Rodriguez and Ella Mullins at the No. 1 position. The Celts were also awarded wins at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles by default.

In singles play, St. Thomas continued its strong showing, earning multiple wins across the lineup. Lucia Rodriguez, Ella Mullins, Mariel Herrera, and Nataly Velasco were all awarded victories by default.

Aimee Tran delivered a dominant 6-0, 6-0 performance, while Adriana Iturralde battled in a close match but fell 7-6, 7-6 as McMurry picked up its lone point.
