CONWAY, AR – St. Thomas women's tennis team continued conference play on the road against Hendrix College, earning a strong 6-1 victory. With the win, the Celts improve to 3-2 overall and remain unbeaten at 3-0 in conference action.

In doubles competition, St. Thomas came up just short of the opening point. The duo of Ella Mullins and Nataly Velasco secured a 6-3 victory, but Hendrix claimed the remaining matches to take the doubles advantage.

UST bounced back in dominant fashion during singles play, winning five matches to secure the team victory. Lucia Rodriguez led the way with a 6-2, 6-0 win, while Ella Mullins followed with a solid 6-2, 6-3 performance. Mariel Herrera added another point with a 6-2, 6-2 victory, and Nataly Velasco earned a 6-1, 6-4 win.

Adriana Iturralde delivered a strong outing with a 6-3, 6-0 win, and Marlie McArthur closed out the match in dominant fashion with a 6-0, 6-0 sweep.
