KERRVILLE,TX- Celt women put on a clinic, improving to 9-4 overall and 4-2 in SCAC play. In doubles, the tandems of Lucia Rodriguez and Ella Mullins (6-3), Aimee Tran and Nataly Velasco (7-5), and Karissa Guzman with Adriana Iturralde (6-0) all secured wins to take the opening point.

Singles play was just as dominant. Rodriguez led the way with a 6-1, 6-2 win, while Mullins followed with a 6-0, 7-5 victory. Iturralde won in straight sets, 6-3, 6-3. Guzman showed resilience with a 7-5, 3-6, 10-4 win in the third set super tiebreak. Velasco edged out her opponent 7-6 (4), 6-4, and Tran closed out the match with a quick 6-1, 6-0 performance.
