Baseball dropped game two of their three game series against Southwestern University this Saturday afternoon. When the dust settled the Celts ultimately lost the game 14-6.

It was Southwestern who scored in the home half of the first inning to secure the lead. Playing from behind the majority of the game, St. Thomas found themselves in a deep hole by inning three as the score read 9-0. Then in the fourth inning the Celts put together a string of four hits to score five runs, powered by a Jeffrey Williams triple to kickstart the rally. However, this wasnt enough as Southwestern added five more runs of insurance to force the Celts to play from behind. Then down to their last three outs, Cameron McClure hit an RBI single to try and spark a comeback, yet it was too late as Southwestern secured the 14-9 game two victory.
