Parsons tabs Pitcher of the Week

CHRIS PARSONS OF UNIVERSITY OF ST. THOMAS, a junior right-handed pitcher from Katy, Texas, has been named the SCAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week for games played from Monday, April 11 through Sunday, April 17. SCAC Baseball Release - Week 10

Parsons set a new St. Thomas program mark against Southwestern on Saturday as he allowed just five hits and struck out a record 14 batters in nine innings of work as the Celts walked off it off in 10 innings (4-3) against the Pirates. The 14 strikeouts equals the most by a confeernce pitcher in the a single-game this season.
