Women's Basketball fell to Texas Lutheran in Friday's SCAC matchup 61-40. The Celts struggled to generate offensive firepower shooting just 32% from the floor.

In the first quarter, the Celts scored five points to the Bulldogs' 13. In the second quarter, St. Thomas added seven before halftime hit. In the third quarter, the Celts began to bounce back shooting 63% from the floor and adding 13 points, powered by a three from Alexya Castillo. In the fourth quarter, time proved to be too little as any Celt comeback was halted. Yet, St. Thomas was able to outscore Texas Lutheran 15-14 in the final period. Ravyn Ellis tabbed five and Audrey Hernandez shot a three-pointer to add to the point total. 

Ravyn Ellis led the team with seven points in the game off the bench and Nia McGee notched five rebounds.
