Game time for the University of St. Thomas Red River Athletic Conference opening game was moved up two hours, and new kick-off time is set for 11:00 a.m. at the University of Houston-Victoria Campus this Saturday, September 22nd.
The decision to move both men's and women's game earlier was made due to weather conditions and possible heavy rain moving into the area in late afternoon.
Celts started the season strong blanking Mid-America Christian University 3-0 in their home opener and followed this with a win over NCAA I Prairie View A&M University (4-3). In the same week, Celts traveled to Arkansas and faced #6 John Brown University dropping a tight contest 2-0 and continued their road trip to Oklahoma where they faced Oklahoma City University. UST dropped this game against Stars 2-0 and is now 2-2 on the season.
This will be the 5th time for the Celts to face Jaguars, and UST is currently lead the series 3-2.
