University of St. Thomas (Houston)

Michael Ramirez is a Sports Admin student at the University of Houston, expected to graduate Fall 2026, and currently serves as an intern with the University of St. Thomas Athletic Department in Houston. 

He has gained valuable experience through his role as student manager of the University of Women’s soccer team through setting up practice and making sure the teams are game day ready.  He ad well gained experience as a coach for the school's men’s club team where he was able to lead and train his team to a positive record. With a goal of becoming a future professional coach for a soccer team, Michael sees this internship as a very important step into the sports industry where he will understand how truly impactful and important each role is to a successful sports organization.
