Rodrigo Marron

  • Title
    Assistant Coach

Rodrigo Marron, soccer has always been more than just a game—it’s a lifelong passion. After years as a player, he discovered his true calling in coaching in 2018. While living in Mexico, he launched a recreational soccer program, inspiring young athletes to develop their skills and love for the game. It was then that he committed to coaching with a purpose: to help players grow both on and off the field.

In 2019, Marron was accepted into the Mexican Football Federation, where he earned multiple coaching certifications, including License D, License C, License B, and Professional A, graduating in 2021. Since then, he has built an impressive coaching résumé, working with top youth clubs such as Los Angeles Surf SC and Downtown Las Vegas SC.

Marron currently serves as an assistant coach for the University of St. Thomas men's soccer team, bringing his expertise in player development and tactical training to the collegiate level. In addition to his role at UST, he is also a Head Coach and Goalkeeper Coach at HTX Soccer in Kingwood, TX.

A firm believer in determination, passion, and love for the game, Marron is dedicated to helping athletes reach their highest potential—whether they are competing at the youth, collegiate, or professional level.
