Cade Kiser

A native of Katy, Texas, Cade Kiser is entering his third season as the Assistant Golf Coach at the University of St. Thomas.

Kiser began his collegiate golf career at Texas State University, where he competed from 2017 to 2019. After two seasons, he transferred to the University of St. Thomas to continue both his academic and athletic journey.

From 2019 to 2023, Kiser made an impact as a student-athlete for the Celts. Specifically, his senior year was highlighted by a standout performance on the course and meaningful contributions off of it. Kiser helped lead St. Thomas to the 2023 SCAC Men’s Team Title—its first since joining the conference—and became the first Celt in program history to be named SCAC Men’s Golfer of the Year. He won two tournaments and finished the season with an adjusted scoring average of 72.71. He also earned All-SCAC and PING All-Region honors. Off the course, Kiser was active within the university community, working as a Graduate Assistant in the Cameron School of Business. He was also recognized for his character and leadership with the SCAC Character & Community Award in the Fall of his senior year.

Now on the coaching staff, Kiser brings his competitive experience and leadership to the next generation of Celt golfers. In July 2025, Kiser assumed responsibility for player recruitment for the women's program. In addition to his coaching duties, he is pursuing professional golf while also serving as the General Manager and Chapter Director of TGA of West Houston—an after-school enrichment program that introduces children to Golf, Tennis, and Pickleball, through fun and instructive, group-based instruction.

Kiser is grateful for the opportunity to return to the program that helped shape him and: “Gave me so much.”
