Men's Soccer match against the Southwestern Pirates went the distance and ended in a 0-0 draw.
The Celts first half against the Pirates was a steady and even match with no signs of scoring coming from either team. The first half saw only five shots from both teams combined.
The second half was filled with energy as UST came out showing some promising aggression. The Celts put up eight shots in the second half with two of them being on goal. However, despite the barrage of shots, Southwestern was able to keep a clean slate. After a late red card, the Celts managed to fend off the Pirates with only 10 men for the entirety of extra time. Neither team threatened in extra time and the game concluded as a 0-0 draw.
The Celts will play in their first-ever SCAC tournament on April 23rd against Texas Lutheran in the quarterfinals.
