The University of St. Thomas Men's Tennis team picked up their second straight victory on Saturday with their Conference matchup against the TLU Bulldogs. The Celts convincingly swept the Bulldogs 9-0 in the contest.
The SCAC Doubles Team of the Week in Race Haas and Tyler Head would continue their strong outings with a 8-0 victory in line one of doubles. Dorian Cudina and Carson Steele also won their match 8-0 for the Celts in line three. While Juanrodrigo Lopez and Jace Ware would pick up their first doubles win of the season witih an 8-2 win in their line two match.
The Celts overwhelmed the Bulldogs in singles with a clean sweep. Race Haas defeated Matthew Stephenson 6-0, 6-4 as he earned his second consecutive victory. Juanrodrigo Lopez, Dorian Cudina, and Carson Steele all made quick business of their matchups, winning all of them 6-0, 6-0. Jace Ware would defeat his opponent in convincing fashion, winning 6-0, 6-1 and Tyler Head took care of business with a 6-1, 6-2 win.
Men's Tennis looks to continue in their winning ways next Friday as they take on LeTourneau.
